For the last few weeks, my 7th/8th grade science class has been working on a insect collection project. I've never seem so many different and interesting bugs, although I hope no live ones ever show up in our beds!

I found your blog off of Hannatu's Happenings. It is so fun to read your perspective on life out here in the Sandbox.
It was so precious to see Sara here in this post because she went through so much to collect her bugs. You really only saw Bug Collection #2. She had all of her bugs early and she had some really choice specimens. She really got into this and had everything labeled and thought the safest thing would be to bring it in to you early to protect it. So she brought it to school and set it down to get something out of her locker. When she came back someone had unwittingly put their back pack on her collection and crushed and destroyed her specimens. She came home a puddle of tears. We prayed that God would bring bugs our way. She set out for new bugs and God came through (as always). Her grade was a real testimony to her that bad things happen but we need to respond rightly, get up and proceed in doing what is right. Thanks for this lesson and for reminding me today of how God met my young treasure at a time when it seemed all was lost.
